Sawyer Brown [Sawyer Brown]
Went with Ben and Tobias Lopez, and maybe Dean Purvis? I am pretty sure Mrs. Lopez took us and picked us up.
Sawyer Brown, fresh off of their $100,000 and a recording contract win on Star Search with Ed McMahon (Tonight Show with Johnny Carson sidekick).
Slick pop country tinged band. They didn't even wear cowboy hats or boots. This was my first "country" concert, and one of the very few I have ever seen. (in fact I think I am now up to 2, so actually just a couple).
They were ok, I don't remember hating them, I also don't remember thinking they were amazing. We were excited to see them, because we had seen them win the big prize on Star Search.
Tickets were super cheap, probably 5 bucks or so.
